Q:  Should I replace my 30-year-old oil tank?

A: Yes. Your heating oil tank has reached the end of its lifespan. In addition to wearing out due to old age, the tank’s vent piping is out of date, and its diameter is too small. Decades ago, our fuel hoses only had the capacity to pump 40 gallons of heating oil per minute into your tank. Today, that pumping capacity has increased by 50% — and so has the typical size of modern vent piping.

You can eliminate your worries by asking us to replace your tank with a new one. Many of the tanks we install today feature double-wall construction, which virtually removes the possibility of a leak.
