Personally Speaking: Higher Energy Prices Hurt Everyone

Dear Friends,

As we go to press, the war in Ukraine has sent the prices for heating fuel (and gasoline) soaring. We hope this spike is only temporary. But we’ve been fielding some calls from customers upset with higher prices.

There is a misconception that we make more money when prices rise like this. We don’t. In fact, we make less. It’s like when the cost of coffee or milk rises. It’s not the local grocery store that is profiting. (That’s left to the Wall Street investors).

The bottom line is, higher costs have a negative impact on all of us. We are doing everything possible to ensure we can deliver — even if other companies cannot — no matter the cost or difficulty we face.

If you are having trouble with your bills, please call us so we can work out a solution. Thank you for your loyalty during these tough times.

Warmly,
Dell M. Cromie, President
