Looking to step into the fuel industry? Do you have a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat? Then look no further. Glassmere Fuel has immediate openings for local Class A and B CDL drivers. We offer on-the-job training if you are unfamiliar with delivering fuel as well as a great pay and benefits package. Our qualification list is fairly simple. We are looking for individuals with Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements. If you do not have the endorsements but are willing to get them that is perfectly ok too, but we do require you to have them in order to start. Fuel hauling experience is a plus but not required as you will receive on-the-job and ongoing training as needed. We are looking for someone with at least a minimum of 1-year of driving experience. Your driving record must have had no major moving violations in the last three years. Some computer skills are preferred to work the E-logs but you will also be trained how to use our system.
We currently have positions open for our Curtisville, Warren, Altoona, Moundsville, Reynoldsville and Latrobe locations for the morning and evening shifts.
The job duties you will be expected to perform will be highlighted in more detail during the interview but the short and skinny is as follows. You will be required to adhere to federal and state DOT regulations for hours of service, pre/post-trip inspections, and hazmat requirements. You will be delivering gas and diesel to gas stations, trucking companies, and other various locations that Glassmere services. There is a small amount of daily paperwork you will have to complete such as pre/post-trip paperwork, daily delivery sheets, and delivery slips.
